Valeria Golino

Valeria Golino ( born October 22, 1966 in Naples) is an Italian actress.

Biography

As the daughter of an Italian and a Greek painter Germanists Valeria Golino grew up both in Naples and in Athens. In high school, she worked part-time as a model and was designed by Lina Wertmuller for its film Scherzo del destino in agguato dietro l' angolo come un brigante da strada (1983 ) discovered, for the seventeen year old first time was in a supporting role in front of the movie camera. In 2013, Golino was with Miele her feature film debut as a director. The film received an invitation in the Un Certain Regard the 66th Cannes Film Festival.
