Valeria Moriconi

Valeria Moriconi; born Valeria Maria Abbruzzetti (* November 15, 1931 in Jesi, Ancona, † June 15, 2005 ibid ) was an Italian actress.

Life

Moriconi began her acting career in the theater, where they both classical pieces by William Shakespeare ( well that ends well ) as well as in modern plays by Bertolt Brecht ( Life of Edward II of England) was successful.

Mid-1950, she made her screen debut and took until 2002 over 30 film roles. Her most famous movies are terrorist in Oklahoma ( Il Terrore dell'Oklahoma, 1959) and Raped in chains (A cavallo della tigre, 1961).

She has been recognized throughout her career with many theater awards, including the prestigious Critics Award Simoni. In 2002 she was nominated for her contributions to the Italian theater from then President Oscar Luigi Scalfaro to the Grand ' Ufficiale della Repubblica.
