Valley of Springs Regional Council

Emeq ha - Ma'ajanot ( מועצה אזורית עמק המעיינות, Mo'atza Ezorit Emeq ha - Ma'ajanot ), in German Valley of the Springs, is an Israeli regional administration in the North District. Also widespread is the English name of Valley of Springs Regional Council.

Location

Founded as the regional administration, the regional administration until 2008 Bet - Shean Valley ( מועצה אזורית בקעת בית שאן, Mo'atza Ezorit Bik'at Beit Shean ) was 1949. It includes most towns in the Beth- Shean valley. The area of the regional administration is bounded by the Jezreel Valley in the west, in the north of the regional administration HaGalil HaTahton ( = Lower Galilee ), to the east of the Jordan and in the south by the Jordan Valley and the mountains of Samaria. In the field of regional administration, the city administration Beit She'an is located as an independent local government.
