Vanaküla (Swedish Gambyn ) is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Noarootsi ( Noarootsi vald ) in Lääne in Estonia.
Population and location
The place has seven inhabitants ( 31 December 2011).
The place name is officially bilingual Estonian and Swedish, as the village was part of the traditional settlement area of Estonia Sweden until 1944.
Nature
From Vanaküla leads from a 4.5 -kilometer-long hiking trail in the vast swamp of Leidissoo. It is mainly the observation of cranes, black woodpecker and goat milkers.
