Vansittart Island (Nunavut)

Vansittart Iceland is an uninhabited island in the Canadian Arctic Archipelago -. It is located in Foxe Basin off the east coast of the Melville Peninsula and belongs politically to the Kivalliq Region of the Canadian territory of Nunavut. Southwest of the island are White Iceland and Iceland Southampton. Between the Frozen Strait leads to settlement located 90 km west Repulse Bay. Vansittart Iceland is separated by a less than 2 km wide strait from the mainland.

The land area of the island is 997 km ². Vansittart Iceland has a length of 75 km. The highest point of the island is 255 m.
