The Airport Vaxjo ( IATA code: VXO, ICAO code: ESMX ) is a Swedish airport in the southern part of the province of Småland. It is located about 10 kilometers northwest from the center of Växjö.

The airport is one of 55% of the County Council of Kronoberg, 42% of the municipality of Växjö and to 3 % of the community Alvesta. It is therefore managed as a municipal corporation.

The tower is one of the most modern in Sweden and was refurbished in 2000. The runway was extensively renovated in 1997 for about 4.3 million euros, so that a precision approach for runway 19 as well as a supported with NDB and LLZ approach for runway 01 is possible.
