Wajoz Dzor, Vayots Dzor in English transcription (Armenian Վայոց ձոր, scientific transliteration Vayoc ' Jor ), is a province in the south of Armenia. It lies between the internationally unrecognized Republic of Nagorno Karabakh to the east and the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan to the west. To the south it borders the Armenian province of Syunik, the north by the provinces of Ararat and Gegharkunik.

Wajoz Dzor has an area of ​​2308 km ² and 55,000 inhabitants. It is thus the most sparsely populated province in the country. Administrative center is Jeghegnadsor with about 8500 inhabitants. There are also in Wajoz Dzor only two other small towns ( Jermuk with almost 5,000 inhabitants and Vayk with around 6000 inhabitants ) and 41 rural communities.
