Vedat İnceefe (2014)

Vedat İnceefe ( born April 1, 1974 in Bandırma, Balikesir Province ) is a former Turkish football player and coach. Due to his years of work for Galatasaray he is associated with this club. With the Turkish national team, he participated in the European Championships in 1996 and graduated at that time as a second division player all three games of his team.

Playing career

Association

The defender started his football career in the youth division of Beşiktaş Istanbul. In 1993 he left Beşiktaş and hired the then third division Soma Sotesspor. After just one year, he joined a league higher for second division Demir Çelik Karabükspor. Here he fell to the then national coach Fatih Terim, who nominated him as a then-unknown second division players without international game experience to the squad of the Turkish national team for the European Football Championship 1996. Here he played straight into the starting eleven and scored during the tournament of the few players who were able to convince.

After the tournament took Terim Galatasaray Istanbul and caused the change from İnceefe to his new place of work. Here he spent most of his career and also celebrated his greatest successes. So you won the 2000 European Super Cup with Galatasaray. In 2003, he joined Vestel Manisaspor, where he finished his professional career after three years.

Coaching career

After his playing career is İnceefe decided on a coaching career. As his first role he took on in the season 2010/11 third division Yeni Malatyaspor. He left this club at the end of 2011. For the new season, he took over the capital club Bugsas Spor. He left this club after eight weeks.

İnceefe began in the summer of 2013 to work for the youth department of his former club Galatasaray and looked after here the U-19 team. After his patron Fatih Terim was sacked surprise from his post as head coach of Galatasaray in the fall of 2013, criticized İnceefe the club president Ünal Aysal strong and also announced his resignation.

After separation Terim took over the Turkish national team as head coach and took in the spring of 2014 İnceefe in his wizard wand. What is the role he is to take over here, was not initially specified. He worked as a game observer and talent scout.

Barrier by Football Association

After a league game in the 1999/00 season against MKE Ankaragucu Vedat İnceefe was convicted after a head butt and bite against misconduct by the Turkish Football Federation to a ban of six months.
