Vic Wild

Victor Ivan " Vic " Wild (Russian Вик Уайлд; born August 23, 1986 in White Salmon, Washington ) is an American- Russian snowboarders. He drives in the disciplines parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom.

Sporting career

Wild was originally a member of the American Association and adopted for this part in the Snowboard World Cup 2011. In the same year he married the Russian snowboarder Alyona Sawarsina and also changed the nationality. His first World Cup race as a Russian game played Vic in December 2012 in Carezza, reaching third place in the parallel giant slalom prompt his first podium. A month later game won in the same discipline bronze at the Snowboard World Cup in Stoneham ( Canada). In January 2014 Wild won a parallel slalom in Bad Gastein and thus his first World Cup race in itself. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, he became Olympic champion in parallel giant slalom and parallel slalom.
