Victor I, Prince of Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym
Victor Amadeus I. Adolf von Anhalt- Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym (* September 7, 1693 at Schloss Schaumburg in Baldwin stone, † April 15, 1772 ibid ) was the second Prince of Anhalt -Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym.
Life
Viktor was the eldest son of Prince Lebrecht of Anhalt- Bernburg - Schaumburg- Hoym (1669-1727) from his marriage to Charlotte (1673-1700), daughter of Prince Adolf II of Nassau- Dillenburg ( 1629-1676 ).
After his mother 's death in 1700 he inherited the county Holzappel and after the death of his grandmother Elizabeth Charlotte of Schaumburg - Holzappel 1707 final also Schaumburg Castle. 1708 was his father, who had been previously Zeitz and Belleben, also still Hoym awarded (but not sovereignty ), as the county Harzgerode fell to the older brother. 1721 made this Hoym the residence city of the Principality of Anhalt- Bernburg - Hoym and left it there a castle build. After the death of his wife he married on February 14, 1740 Hedwig Sophie Henckel von Donnersmarck (* May 7, 1717, † February 21, 1795 ), daughter of Wenzel Ludwig Henckel von Donnersmarck.
