Victor Whitsey

Hubert Victor Whitsey (* November 21, 1916; † 25 December 1987) was a British Anglican bishop. He was from 1974 to 1981 Bishop of Chester.

After his training he was Vicar ( Curate ) in Chorley in Lancashire. After that, he was pastor (Vicar ) in Farington. In 1971 he became Bishop of Hertford suffragan bishop in the Church of England. In 1974 he became Bishop of Chester. As such, he was from 1978 to 1981 also as a spiritual Lord Member of the House of Lords.
