Victoria Benedictsson

Victoria Maria Benedictsson, born Bruzelius ( born March 6, 1850, the Good Domme ( Scania), † June 21, 1888 in Copenhagen) was a Swedish writer.

Life

Benedictsson came from a conservative pastor's family, which she forced into a marriage of convenience. Although she had dreamed of a career as an artist, she has married more than twice as old, unloved man to whom she gave two children and also took care of conscientiously house and education in southern Sweden Hörby.
