Viessmann

The Viessmann Group is a family company founded in 1917 with headquarters in Allendorf ( Eder), developed the heating products in the southern part of North Hesse and produces. The managing director is Martin Viessmann, the predecessor was his father, Hans Viessmann. The group turnover of 1.89 billion euros and approximately 10,600 people are employed worldwide.

Activities

The company has 27 production companies in eleven countries and 120 sales offices in 74 countries. 54 percent of our sales are generated abroad. The product range includes heat generator with an output of 1.5 kW to 120,000 kW. Since summer 2011, Viessmann offers together with the Eder School in Frankenberg and the Technical University of Central Hesse in the project Young Engineering Academy high school students an insight into the engineering profession with the topics of robotics and computer science.
