Viktor Kostyuchenok

Viktar Paula Malevich Kaszjutschonak (White Russian Віктар Паўлавіч Касцючонак, Russian Виктор Павлович Костюченок / Viktor Pavlovich Kostjutschenok; born June 7, 1979 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR) is a Belarusian professional ice hockey player who plays for HK Junost Minsk since September 2012.

Career

Viktar Kaszjutschonak began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Junost Minsk, for its first team to 2000 he was active from 1995 in the East European Hockey League as well as the Belarusian Extraliga. With his team he was in the 1998/99 season Belarusian runner-up. After he started the 2000/01 season at Junost Minsk, the defender moved to Germany to Deggendorfer SC in the Oberliga Süd and from there to HK Keramin Minsk from the Extraliga. From 2000 to 2003 he played in Brest Albatros Hockey in the French Division 2 and in the 2002/03 season in the Ligue Magnus, the top division of the country. In the following three years, the national team was again for the HK Junost Minsk on the ice, with which he 2004, 2005 and 2006, three times in a row won the national championship. In the 2003 /04 season he reached there with his team even the double of league and cup.

For the season 2006/ 07 Kaszjutschonak received a contract with HK Lada Togliatti of the Russian Super League, played in the following year, but again for Junost Minsk, with which he was runner-up in Belarus for the second time. For the season 2008/ 09, the White Russian Amur Khabarovsk has been committed from the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League. He also began the 2009/10 season, before he moved in October after 18 games to Amur League rivals Spartak Moscow HK.

The 2010/11 season spent Kaszjutschonak in his home at HK Dinamo Minsk before he was hired in July 2011 by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg. In July 2012, has been resolved since ongoing contract with Awtomobilist.

Internationally

For Kaszjutschonak Belarus took part in the junior level at the Junior C World Cup 1997 and the U20 Junior A World Championship in 1999. In the senior level, he stood in the squad of his country at the B World Cup 2002 and the A World Championships in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Moreover ran the defender at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010 and qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games 2006 in Turin.
