Villa Elisa is a city in Paraguay.
Location
Villa Elisa is limited by the districts of Lambaré and Asunción in the north, with the district Ñemby to the south, in the east of Fernando de la Mora. To the west lies the Río Paraguay. Villa Elisa forms part of the metropolitan area of Asunción.
It is traversed from north to south of paved roads.

There are 16 neighborhoods that are most important: Centro, San Juan, Villa Bonita, Mbocayaty, Picada, Sol de América, Ypaty, San Miguel, Rosedal, 29 de Septiembre, Bocas 3, 8 de Diciembre, San José and Gloria Maria.
History
Villa Elisa was founded on 21 June 1899 under the leadership of Emilio Johansen.
