Vincent Landay

Vincent Landay (* in Sault Ste., Canada ) is a Canadian film producer.

Life

Landay studied from 1981 to 1986 Theatre Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree. He produced music videos since 1993 with director Spike Jonze for bands like Arcade Fire, Kanye West, REM, Bjork, Weezer and Fatboy Slim. Also on commercials for the company Nike, Adidas, The Gap and Ikea & Levis he was involved. Moreover, he also produced the Directors Label DVD Series, a collection of works by Jonze, Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry. In addition to Landay, Jonze has also worked with directors such as David Fincher, Michael Bay, James Foley, David Lynch, Roman Coppola and John Dahl. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, such as the feature film production, which earned him his first Oscar nomination. In January 2013 Landay founded his own production company called Vincent Landay Productions.
