Visual Effects Society

The Visual Effects Society (VES ) is a company incorporated in Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA 1997 Society for visual effects and represented with its 1,500 members around the world, filmmakers from all areas of visual effects.

Objectives

The VES is a professional, voluntary organization. Its members come from all areas of the entertainment industry, such as film, television, commercials, music videos and computer games. The aim of the VES is to promote artists, engineers, model makers, educators, directors, production managers and marketing experts who deal with visual effects, and the ability to offer them to retrain. Members of the VES, and all film professionals from the entertainment industry provides the VES various annual domestic and international information and education programs, screenings and events.

VES Awards

Since 2002, the VES Awards are determined annually by the Visual Effects Society awarded. In several categories, the award for best special effects in film, television, commercials, music videos and computer games will be given.
