Vitaliy Shumbarets
Vitaly Schumbarez (Ukrainian Віталій Ігорович Шумбарець; * July 14, 1983 in Kremenez ) is a Ukrainian ski jumper.
Career
In January 2003 Schumbarez occurred in a FIS race for the first time internationally in appearance. She then served in the Continental; first sporadically, from 2005/ 06 on a regular basis.
In the 2007 /08 season Schumbarez reached the Top 50 for the first time - passage of a World Cup event when he was qualified for the jump on December 13 in the Villach Alpine Arena. For the next day taking place jumping him again succeeded in doing so.
In the World Cup Schumbarez has been reached three times the points, with a 21 place at the Ski Jumping in Sapporo is his best ever World Cup result on 17 January 2010. His best finish with the Ukrainian team succeeded him on 29 November 2008 at nachgeholten team competition in Kuusamo, as he finished 9th and last place along with Volodymyr Boschtschuk, Oleksandr Lasarowytsch and Volodymyr Weredjuk.
Even before he could achieve in Planica on March 20, 2009 as the 25th his first World Cup points, he had hinted with a 33rd place in ski flying at the Heini Klopfer ski jump in Oberstdorf on 14 February 2009, his potential. His personal best jump of 189.5 meters, situated in the qualification for flying in Planica.
Schumbarez previously took part in four Nordic World Ski Championships. 2003 in Val di Fiemme, he joined, as the only Ukrainian ski jumper, only the team competition and was there 13 and thus last. 2005 in Oberstdorf, the Ukraine team should once again be the team competition of the party, participation was withdrawn shortly before the start. Schumbarez ' successful World Cup was previously the 2007 in Sapporo, where he occupied the 41st and the 51st rank in each individual on the normal hill on the large hill. The team however, he was again only 13 and Last. His teammates were each Volodymyr Boschtschuk and Olexandr Lasarowytsch, 2003 supplemented by Igor Boyschuk, 2005 by Mykola Kozlov and 2007 by the Nordic Combined Volodymyr Tratschuk. At the World Championship 2009 he jumped from the large hill at the 35th place, after he had not qualified for the jump on the normal hill. In the team event he could not attend, as Ukraine did not provide team.
At the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver Schumbarez difference in jumping on the normal hill from 45th after the first passage. When qualifying on the big hill he could not qualify for the finals to be 51. In team competition, the Ukraine could not start because Schumbarez after a training accident two days earlier made was not operational.
His best results off of the World Cup had Schumbarez as the winner of the FIS Cup jumping in Strbske Pleso on 9 January 2011 and in Szczyrk on 9 August 2011., He achieved his best result in each case in Wisła Continental Cup on September 12, 2009 and on February 26, 2012 with the twelfth. In the Ukrainian Championships in March 2012 in Worochta he was able to win the gold medal in both the individual as well as with the team Tarnopols.
