Criticism
The publisher is often criticized for changes to the published manga. So how Ranma ½ manga were adapted in the translation to western standards and also changing the reading direction of the Japanese to Western. The censorship was criticized in series like Dragon Ball. Viz Media justified the changes to the fact that the manga with a lower age rating out of bookstores, can be offered as in supermarkets.
