Vladimir Barmin

Vladimir Pavlovich Barmin (Russian: Владимир Павлович Бармин, born March 4, 1909 in Moscow, † July 17, 1993 ) was a Soviet engineer.

Life

Barmin was instrumental in the construction of the world's first spaceport Baikonur. In particular, he worked as an engineer in the construction of missile launching pads in Baikonur. The asteroid ( 22254 ) Vladbarmin was named after him.
