Vladimir Chuchelov

Chuchelov Vladimir (Russian: Владимир Николаевич Чучелов; Vladimir Nikolaevich Tschutschelow; born September 28, 1969) is a Belgian chess player and coach, who played until 1994 for Russia.

The international tournament in Capelle la Grande he won twice: in 1994, together with Tony Miles, Henadij Kuzmin and Mark Hebden and 2011 together with Einar Gausel.

Chuchelov conquered or occupied top positions in several other tournaments: 1st place in the HSK tournament in Hamburg (1991 ), 1st place in the tournament in Gifhorn (1992 ), 1st place at the Belgian Championship in Ghent (2000) and 3rd place with the Belgian Cup in Charleroi ( 2001).

Since 1995, it bears the grandmaster title. Chuchelov is leading the Belgian Elo ranking (as of November 2010). In the season 2010/11 the German Chess League, he plays for Sportfreunde Katernberg, his first season in the German Bundesliga chess was the season 2003/04. Beginning of the 1990s, he played in Germany on top board of the second team of the Hamburg SK.

As a chess coach, he coached as Fabiano Caruana, Tania Sachdev, Lisa Schut and since 2002 the German Grandmaster Georg Meier. He carries since 2010 the title of FIDE Senior Trainer.
