Vonones II of Parthia

Vonones II († 51 AD ) was a Parthian king who ruled only a few months in the year 51. Before the death of his predecessor, he was governor of media. Tacitus describes his reign in his work Annales as " short and inglorious ."

It is little known something about his person.

He was succeeded by his son Vologaeses I. and this later after his other son Pacorus. Another son should be as Trdat I King of Armenia.
