Vorderwald mountain is a scattered settlement in the Upper Pinzgau, the rear Salzach valley in the district of Zell am See / Pinzgau, and town in the municipality Wald im Pinzgau, on the southern edge of the Kitzbühel Alps.

Geography

History

Vorderwald mountain situated at the old mule track from Mittersill as a commercial node via the Gerlos Pass ( Pinzgauer height ) to Zell am Ziller. It was expanded in 1631 to the wagon trail.
