Všeruby (Plzeň-North District)

Vseruby ( German Wscherau, also Scherau ) is a city in Okres Plzeň -sever in the Czech Republic with a population of 1,017 (1 January 2004 ) and an area of ​​33.16 km ². The village lies at the foot of the 464 m high Marti Nova hora ( Martin Hill).

History

The first documentary evidence dates from the year 1175 and occupy the building of the church of St. Martin and a castle. 1197 were as owner of the castle, the brothers Hrdibor and Vicemil, relatives of the blessed Hroznata called. 1269 was the judge of the Pilsen Region, Drslav, lord of the castle. From 1385, the castle of Guta Guttenstein belonged. The Guttensteiner held possession until the second half of the 15th century. The castle was deserted in the 16th century. Until the abolition of patrimonial regimes in 1848 Vseruby belonged to the rule Kunějovice. On February 29, 2012 Vseruby became a town.
