Vyškovec

Vyškovec ( German Wischkowetz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 17 kilometers south-east of Uherský Brod and belongs to Okres Uherské Hradiště.

Geography

The scattered settlement Vyškovec is located on the crest of the White Carpathians protected landscape territory PLA White Carpathians on the border with Slovakia. The village lies at the northern foot of the Kykula in the headwaters of the creek Predpolomský creek. Southeast of the village rises the Drietomice. To the north rises the Príslop (710 m) and Fráňovec, in the northeast of Žár ( 598 m ) east of the Štefková, in the southeastern Machnáč ( 771 m ) south of the Kykula ( 746 m) and Hřibovňa ( 669 m ) in the southwest the Velky Lopeník (911 m) and Maly Lopeník ( 881 m ) west of the Kobylec ( 844 m) and Mikulčin vrch ( 798 m ) and vrch in the northwest of Tomkův vrch ( 794 m) and Rapantův.

Neighboring towns are Bartoňové, Šagátky, Vápenice and Stary Hrozenkov in the north, Dolina and Liešna in the northeast, Mrázikovci, Vlčí and Režňáci in the east, Handrlovci and Kykula the southeast, Kykula and Predpoloma in the south, Výškovecké Bošáčky and Lopenické Bošáčky the southwest, Škrátová, Mikulčin Vrch and Lopeník in the west and Paseky in the northwest.

History

Vyškovec was created in 1730 as a settlement of Kopanitscharen on a way to Hungary. The farmsteads were built without this village structure of cheap places where enough water was available and were accessible via paths. Was named the settlement after the mountain Kykula, which was formerly known as Vyškovec. The oldest town seal dates from 1802. Until the mid- 19th century, the settlement of the rule Uherský Brod was submissive.

After the replacement of patrimonial Viškovice / Wischkowetz formed in 1850 a settlement of the municipality Hrozinkov in the District Commission Uherský Brod. In 1869 Viškovice consisted of 87 thatched -hewn wooden houses. Since the end of the 19th century the village is referred to as Vyškovec. The inhabitants lived on the Hölzfällerei, earning extra income by peddling with seeds. Since 1910, Vyškovec forms its own community. Parish and school location was has always jeh Stary Hrozenkov. 1919, 95% of school-age children of Vyškovec illiterate. Eradication of illiteracy in 1934 two schools were established in Vyškovec; the one developed in Bošáčky, the other in Chmelinec. During the construction of the highway from Brno to Trenčín also connecting road from Nový Dvůr was created by Vyškovec 1936-1938. Before the settlement was reached only via paths. The school was founded in 1953 in Chmelinec closed. 1956 was the road to Stary Hrozenkov. After the abolition of Okres Uherský Brod Vyškovec came to the end of 1960 Okres Uherské Hradiště. After the closure of the school in Bošáčky the village children are taught again in Stary Hrozenkov since 1977.
