Wagah (Hindi वाघा, Urdu واەگه ) is a border crossing on the road between Amritsar, Punjab (India) and Lahore, Punjab (Pakistan ) and part of the Grand Trunk Road. It is the only border crossing in these states between India and Pakistan.

At the border, a military parade of the border guards will be held nightly on both sides, which includes, among other things, the flag parade and the sounding of the Clairon (signal trumpet). The Parade is characterized by a self- military relations excessive and exaggerated ritualization. The movements of the soldiers on both sides are regularly compared with the The- Ministry- of- Silly- Walks Monty Python sketch.

The parade is attended by people from all parts of both countries as well as by foreign tourists and cheered on by the chants of the locals. It serves as a demonstration of military presence and readiness to fight. The two countries have based on historical and current ongoing hostilities due to territorial disputes, a tense political relationship.

In October 2010 it was announced that the Major General Yaqub Ali Khan enters the Pakistani side for the normalization of the ceremony.
