The Washington Township is a Township in Lucas County, Ohio. At the 2000 census it had 3574 inhabitants. The former is larger Township after several incorporations only three small, separate areas in northern Toledo.

The westernmost and smallest area, Alexis Place, is a 800 x 500 m wide, surrounded by Toledo, enclave. The Shantee Creek flows through Alexis and also forms its eastern border. The majority of the enclave assumes a Trailer Park ( Raintree Mobile Home Village ). The slightly larger section Shoreland is located east of Interstate 75 and north-west of the estuary of the Ottawa River about three kilometers east of Alexis Place. The Ottawa River forms a border with the city of Toledo, which encloses Shore land on three sides. Just to the north, the Washington Township borders on the Erie Township, Michigan.

The third and by far the largest part part of a small sector of Lake Erie in the Maumee Bay to Washington Township. Overall, the township has a total area of 17.1 km ², of which 14.8 km ² water and 2.3 km ² of land.

The Washington Township, Lucas County is one of 43 Washington Townships in Ohio alone.
