Wasim Akram

Wasim Akram ( born June 3, 1966 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan ) is a former Pakistani cricketer. He is considered the best Pakistani fast bowler in the history of cricket. He was voted one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1993.

Life

Wasim Akram took during his career for Pakistan participated in 104 Test matches in which he scored a total of 414 wickets. Only eight other players have so far achieved more Testwickets. His first test he graduated in January 1985 against New Zealand in Auckland. Its last use in a test he had in January 2002 in Dhaka against Bangladesh.
