Waslala is a county in the Región Autónoma del Atlántico Norte de Nicaragua. It is located 111 km from Matagalpa and 241 kilometers from Managua.

History

The meaning of the word Waslala was in the language of the indigenous silver river. The original Kolonisierungsmotiv precious metal mines. The Acción Cívica a department of the Guardia Nacional de Nicaragua, which executed public works, built in 1977, the road to Waslala.

Climate
