Weddin Shire

- 33.883333333333148.08333333333Koordinaten: 33 ° 53 ' S, 148 ° 5' O Weddin Shire is a Local Government Area ( LGA) in the Australian state of New South Wales. The area is 3410 km ² and has about 3,600 inhabitants.

Wedding is located in the Central West of the state about 360 km west of the city of Sydney and 210 km north- west of the Australian capital Canberra. The area includes 27 districts and towns: Arramagong, Arramagong West, Berendebba, Bimbi, Gogalong, Brundah, Bung Along, Caragabal, Eualdrie, Eurabba, Glenelg, Grenfell, Iandra, Mogongong, Ooma, Piney Range, Pullabooka, Quandong, Warraderry, Weddin, Wirega and parts of Bribbaree, Bumbaldry, Greene Thorpe, Marsden, Quandialla and Wirrinya. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Grenfell in the eastern half of the LGA, where about 2,000 inhabitants.

Management

The Weddin Shire Council has ten members who are elected by the residents of the five Wards ( two each from the Wards A to E). These five districts are set independently of the villages. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
