Wehha of East Anglia

Wehha (also Wehh and Guercha; * unknown; † about 571 ) was in the 6th century may be the first king of East Anglia after the unification of Norfolk and Suffolk.

The tradition of this early period of Anglo-Saxon domination is very sparse and unreliable. After his genealogy in the Historia Brittonum ( History of the Britons ), he was the son of Guillem, son of Hryp, son of Hroðmund, son of Trygil, son of Tyttman, son of Caser, son of Odin. Details of his reign are not known.

His successor was his son Wuffa, named after their dynasty as Wuffinger the later kings of East Anglia.
