Wendy Palmer

Wendy Palmer -Daniel ( born August 12, 1974 in Durham, North Carolina, United States) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association as a power forward.

Career

College

Before Palmer moved to the WNBA, she played as a power forward for the women's basketball team at the University of Virginia.

Women's National Basketball Association

Wendy Palmer has been drawn in the Elite Draft in 1997 by the Utah Starzz in the ninth spot. In the 1999 season, Utah Wendy transferred in the middle of the season to Detroit. Detroit then transferred into the 2002 season with the Orlando Miracle. After the end of the season, the Miracles were relocated to Connecticut, where they then to the Connecticut Sun were. Thus they played from the 2003 season for the Sun, where she WNBA Most Improved Player Award in the 2004 season. After this season they signed as a free agent a one-year contract with the San Antonio Silver Stars.

In the 2006 season, she signed with the Seattle Storm, but she could in her first season for the Storm, due to an injury, playing only five games.
