Werlaburgdorf is a district of the municipality Schladen - Werla district Wolfenbüttel in Lower Saxony.

Until the district reform on 1 August 1977 it belonged to the district of Goslar and then moved in the district of Wolfenbüttel. The place name has only existed since 1958, before the place was called Burgdorf.

Geography

Werlaburgdorf is located south- south-east of the Oder Forest about 13 km south of Wolfenbüttel and 3 km north of Schladen on the lower reaches of Warne.

History
