West Redonda Iceland is an island in British Columbia, Canada. It is among the Discovery Islands.

To the west is the bay Teakerne arm that branches off from the Lewis Channel.

History

The island was discovered in 1792 during an expedition of Dionisio Alcalá Galiano and Cayetano Valdés y Flores. They called Isla Redonda, which translated means round the island. They set up a base in the west of the island and explore with several smaller boats the other islands.
