The Krohne Messtechnik GmbH is one of the leading international suppliers in process instrumentation and complete solutions. 2010, the Group generated with 2596 employees, 252 million euro turnover. The family is now represented on all continents.

Management and headquarters of Krohne Group are located in Duisburg.

The company operates 15 manufacturing facilities in ten different countries and 43 owned or operated as a joint venture factory offices. There are exclusive representatives in 55 other locations.

The individual production sites specialize in specific product groups. In addition to producing the calibration of the measuring instruments is carried out at several locations. So in Duisburg from a total of 550 employees, all electronic components used in the measuring devices are developed and manufactured, also finds here the development of variable area flowmeters and part of the production instead. History

Founded in 1921 by Ludwig Krohne first produced floats flowmeter, from 1935 in its own factory, which was destroyed during the second world war. The grandson of the founder, Kristian Rademacher Dubbick, joined the company in 1949 and led it until the end of the 1970s. Since the early 1960s, the company is in other European countries, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and France, represented.
