Wilfred Greene, 1st Baron Greene

Wilfrid Arthur Greene, 1st Baron Greene, of Holmbury St Mary in the County of Surrey, MC OBE KC PC ( * July 16, 1883, † April 16, 1952 ) was a British lawyer, as an heir -peer ( Hereditary peer ) and most recently as a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary was also a member of the House of Lords. Life

After attending Westminster College London Greene graduated in Law at Christ Church, University of Oxford. After graduation, he was awarded the 1908 his legal approval to the Chamber of Lawyers ( Inns of Court of the Inner Temple ). He then worked as a barrister before he his military service in the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry made ​​its legal work during the First World War, where he was most recently promoted to captain of the 2nd Battalion.
