Wilk Elektronik

Wilk Elektronik S. A. is a Polish manufacturer of computer memory under the brand name " Goodram ". The company has its headquarters in Łaziska Górne in Katowice in Upper Silesia. The product range includes RAM, SSD hard drives and USB sticks. Since Qimonda's insolvency, the company is the only remaining manufacturer of RAM modules in Europe.

History

The company was founded in Tychy Wieslaw Wilk in 1991 and initially dealt with the distribution of RAM memories. In 1996 the company was the largest RAM distributor in Poland. After made ​​in 2004 moved to Łaziska Górne own products are in the local business under the brand name " Goodram " made ​​. Another brand, "Good Drive" (SSD, pendrives ), was replaced in 2011 by the uniform Goodram brand. Since 2008, the company is partnering with Toshiba and acts as a distributor for their memory products in Eastern and Southeastern Europe. More partnerships with Samsung, Micron and Elpida. In 2009, annual turnover of 100 million U.S. dollars was achieved. On the 2009 compiled list of the 200 largest Polish IT company Computerworld the company came in 43rd place.
