The Willapa River is a river in Pacific County in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Washington.

It rises about 40 km west of Chehalis in the Willapa Hills. It flows north-west and drains a mostly hilly area north of the Columbia River until it empties after about 32 km at South Bend in the Willapa Bay, a large estuary on the Pazikküste.

The river is named after the Willapa, a Athabaskischsprachigen Indian tribe who populated the river valley and the region up to the headwaters of the Chehalis and Cowlitz River of.
