Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen

Willem Hendrik van de Sande Bakhuyzen ( born November 13, 1957 in Arnhem, † September 27, 2005 in Amsterdam) was a Dutch film director. Van de Sande Bakhuyzen made ​​a name for himself with various film and television productions, as well as with productions at the theater.

Life

After leaving school, he studied at the Free University of Amsterdam right. After three years he moved in 1979 to the Maastricht Theatre Academy, where he studied for another three years. There he learned the script writer Maria Goos and actor Pierre Bokma, Peter Blok and Gijs Scholten van Aschat know who participated later in his films.

In 1986, he was first seen as an actor in the Oscar winning film The stop Fons Rademakers of the camera. In 1990 he was steden in the television series 12, 13 ongelukken his debut as a director. Willem van de Sande Bakhuyzen died on 27 September 2005 at the age of 47 from cancer.
