William K. Fuller

William Kendall Fuller ( * November 24, 1792 in Schenectady, New York, † November 11, 1883 ) was an American lawyer and politician. Between 1833 and 1837 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

William Kendall Fuller was born about nine years after the end of the Revolutionary War in Schenectady County. He attended community schools. In 1810 he graduated from Union College. He studied law. After receiving his license to practice law in 1814 he began to practice in Schenectady. Between 1821 and 1829 he was district attorney in Madison County. During this time he held the post in 1823 as Adjutant General ( Adjutant General ) of New York. He sat in 1829 and 1830 in the New York State Assembly. Politically, he was a member of the Jacksonian Group.

In the congressional elections of 1832 for the 23rd Congress Fuller was the 23rd electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Freeborn G. Jewett on March 4, 1833. He was re-elected once and then retired after the March 3, 1837 from the Congress of.

After his conference time he went back to his work as a lawyer after. He died on November 11, 1883 in Schenectady and was then buried in the Vale Cemetery.
