William, Prince of Hohenzollern

Wilhelm August Karl Joseph Peter Benedict Ferdinand of Hohenzollern ( born March 7, 1864 Benrath in Benrath in Dusseldorf, † October 22, 1927 in Sigmaringen ) was from 1905 to 1918 Prince of Hohenzollern.

Life

William was the son of Prince Leopold of Hohenzollern and Infanta Maria Antonia of Portugal. He was from June 27, 1889 in his first marriage with Maria Theresa of Bourbon- Sicily, daughter of Prince Louis of Bourbon- Sicily, and from 20 January 1915. Second marriage to Adelgunde of Bavaria, daughter of King Ludwig III married from Bavaria.

William's father, Prince Leopold, was from 1899 the Sigmaringen Castle by the Munich architect Emanuel von Seidl in the style of eclecticism completely new look.
