Life & Career

Wings Hauser is the son of Oscar-winning director and producer Dwight Hauser (1911 - 1969). In 1975, he released an album titled Your Love Keeps Me Off The Streets for RCA. He used the pseudonym Wings Livinryte for this LP. First he attracted attention as an actor in 1977 in the role of Greg Foster in the soap opera Young and the Restless. In 1991, he was starred in the short-lived action series business firestorm ( "Lightning Force "). He also played recurring roles in over forty television series, including Beverly Hills 90210, Murder, She Wrote, The A-Team and Roseanne.

In 1983 he wrote the script and served as producer for The Seven bold with Gene Hackman in the lead role. He also proved his versatility with the representation of intense, often eccentric characters in films such as Night rats, death squads and Tough Guys Do not Dance.

His son from his first marriage, Cole Hauser, also became an actor. Since 2000, Wings Hauser is married in fourth marriage to Cali Hauser and the couple have a daughter.
