Wolfgang Maria Bauer

Wolfgang Maria Bauer ( born June 9, 1963 in Munich) is a German actor, writer and director.

Life

Wolfgang Maria Bauer was born on 9 June 1963 in Munich, the son of a high school professor and a sports teacher.

Bauer studied philosophy, German literature and theater studies at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University in Munich and subsequently attended from 1987 to 1990 the State Theatre School, Stuttgart. After that, he played in various theaters, including he was for three years the ensemble of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and played in the Romeo and Juliet directed by Leander Haussmann the Mercutio. From 2000 to 2005 he was a senior director at the theater in Heidelberg.

Known to a wider public he was the role of the Commissioner Viktor Siska in the ZDF detective series Siska, which he played from 2004 to 2008.

Wolfgang Maria Bauer is an active member of the German national author ( Autonama ). In his youth he played among others TSV 1860 München and in the later stages as a center forward in the game 'Association of Munich -Unterhaching.

Since October 2011, he is also a lecturer at the Academy of Performing Arts Baden- Wuerttemberg and mentor of the first vintage spectacle.
