Women's World Chess Championship 1930

The World Chess Championship for women in 1930 was the second competition for the title of world chess champion and took place during the Chess Olympiad 1930 in Hamburg. Vera Menchik successfully defended her title in the double round discharged tournament.

It was probably only allowed one player from each country. World Champion Menchik brought in the World Chess Championship for women 1931, a request for approval of additional players, which from 1933 was allowed to attend more than one player per country.
