Won-il Rhee

Rhee Won- il ( born November 2, 1960 in Seoul, South Korea, † January 11, 2011 ) was an internationally active curator.

The focus of Rhee's work lay in the communication and presentation of contemporary modern art, especially at the interfaces of Asian art and media art. Rhee organized and curated world partially acclaimed exhibitions. Particularly intense was his collaboration with the ZKM in Karlsruhe, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
