The Wurzacher Oh Bad Wurzach

The Wurzacher Oh is the left or southern source river of Aitrach in Baden-Württemberg and 24.3 km long. It rises in the extreme southwest of Wurzacher Ried close Ziegelbach, west of Bad Wurzach.

First, it flows in an easterly direction through the Wurzacher Ried. After leaving this, it passes the spa town of Bad Wurzach from north to south. From Diepoldshofen, a little haven of Leutkirch, the course of the river leading towards northeast. Southwest of Altmannshofen, in the municipality of Aichstetten, unite the Wurzacher Oh and the Eschach and form the Aitrach, the most water left tributary of the River Iller.

In the upper reaches of the natural course of Wurzacher Oh is impaired specifically in the source area and in the town of Bad Wurzach. In the nature reserve Wurzacher Ried, you can develop freely. Another nature reserve, which Mr. Godfrey, located on the east bank of the river southwest of Gospoldshofen. On their last 6.7 kilometers, it is consistently straightened.
