Xanadu (Soundtrack)
Xanadu is the soundtrack album to the film of the same in 1980, consisting of sundries song material of singer Olivia Newton -John and the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra. On the LP version of the songs of Olivia Newton -John and Electric Light Orchestra are each disposed on one side, but is sung by Olivia Newton-John song Xanadu on the page with the songs of the Electric Light Orchestra. Although the film was not very successful, the soundtrack album proved to be a sales success. So it was awarded in the UK with the gold record in the United States and double platinum. The recordings were with Reinhold Mack as a sound engineer in the Musicland Studios in Munich.
