Reinhold Mack

Reinhold Mack (known as " Mack ") is a German music producer. He is co-producer or sound engineer numerous recorded in Munich's Musicland Studios albums by Queen and Electric Light Orchestra.

Mack's collaboration with Queen began in June 1979, when the band Crazy Little Thing Called Love recorded. The group got involved as a result of new recording techniques that comes for example in the production of Another One Bites the Dust, one of the most successful singles of Queen, expressed. Attaches particular importance to Mack to the album Hot Space, because this production technique and style of his time was ahead. Among the best known further co-produced with the band songs include both Radio Ga Ga and I Want to Break Free and Princes of the Universe, the opening song of the movie Highlander. Up to and including 1986 Mack produced together with the band members a total of five studio albums by Queen.

In addition, he produced Freddie Mercury in 1985, released solo album Mr. Bad Guy. 1992 Mack commented critically posthumously -made remixes that - were released on the compilation The Freddie Mercury Album - instead of the original versions.
