Xavier Breton

Xavier Breton ( born November 25, 1962 in Darney ) is a French politician. He is the National Assembly since 2007 deputy.

Breton grew up in Nancy, Mirecourt and last in his birthplace Darney, a village in Lorraine, where his grandfather was the mayor on. After his graduation in Epinal he first studied law, but later political science. After he had completed his military service in Germany, he worked as an advisor to the mayor of Saint- Malo. After that, he was assistant to the prefect of the department Yonne. In 1995 he moved to Belley in the department of Ain ​​and henceforth worked for several presidents of the local General Council. After moving to Bourg -en- Bresse, he moved into the local city council. In 2007 he stood as a candidate after the withdrawal of Jean -Michel Bertrand in the first constituency of the department of Ain ​​and pulled for the UMP in the National Assembly. In 2012 he was re-elected.
