Xerox DocuShare

DocuShare is a technology developed by Xerox, Web-based document management (DMS) and enterprise content management solution for businesses. History

Xerox DocuShare was originally developed research centers under the name " AmberWeb " as a purely internal application for Xerox. The DocuShare content management platform consists of a core of three products together:

Architecture and Features

DocuShare is a multi -tier, Java SE- based platform which attempts by its own architecture and development environment to support the interoperability with other system best. In addition to a Tomcat server are numerous OEM engines for use, among other things, Autonomy Corporation ( for indexing, eForm, BPM) and records management of IBM. These different software products were summarized by Xerox and summarized by our own developments (including a Worflow and a search engine) to a single software product.
